Bernice has a demonstrated history in brand marketing, communications, strategy development, advertising and sponsorship. She has an impressive profile of brand management and marketing in positions across the globe, including blue chip FMCG companies such as Nestlé and Coca-Cola. Bernice began her career in 1994 and has been building and re-positioning huge global brands and driving growth within them ever since.

Professional experience

Bernice loves both playing badminton and drinking wine. (Not at the same time though!) She is very competitive and absolutely loves food!

After graduating with a double major in Marketing and PR from the Curtin University in Australia, Bernice dove straight into a Brand Executive role at Nestlé in Kuala Lumpur where she piloted the Consumer Relationship Marketing programme for Asia. After over 3 years at Nestlé, Bernice moved to the UK where she began working as a brand manager for a global business managing premium brands.

In 2002, Bernice moved back to Malaysia where she achieved a 23% sales uplift in the impulse category for Coca-Cola Far East and drove the repositioning of the Coca-Cola brand in Malaysia and Singapore. Bernice then spent almost 8 years in Australia working as a Marketing Manager for Lion Nathan where she spearheaded a brand portfolio and consolidation strategy which turned a 20% decline into a 4% growth. She repositioned the Yoplait Kids portfolio and rebuilt brand equity for Yoplait Petit Miam.

Following her long and successful leadership role at Lion Nathan, Bernice moved back to the UK once again where she worked as a Consultant Brand Mentor working with clients to improve their brand, create robust brand strategies and uncover powerful brand insights. After helping numerous clients greatly improve their brands, Bernice then managed the top billing client at Kantar (Insights and Research company) during which time she gained expertise in stimulating new thinking and extracting the best from customers. She integrated marketing and trade programmes seamlessly into her clients’ businesses for actionable and measurable results whilst spearheading digital transformation of research tools for speed and efficiency.

Now based in Wimbledon, Bernice uses her extensive knowledge and experience to help our clients with marketing strategies that aim to ensure the growth and success of their brands.
