Tracey has a Post-Graduate Diploma in HR Management (MCIPD), as well as being IOSH (Health and Safety) qualified. Tracey has previously completed a coaching accreditation.
Tracey has worked in HR in a variety of organisations, including charity, council and banking. Her HR career began working for the Woolwich bank (now Barclays). This involved providing HR support within a call centre environment, whilst also managing a large team. The call centre went on to introduce a whole new model of training and development, which Tracey was instrumental in implementing.
Tracey left Barclays to move into a focused HR role at a charity, which was a mix of managing and supporting paid staff, as well as volunteers. Tracey had to adapt quickly to providing HR support in a much less corporate setting, which was something she really enjoyed. Her next role was working at a local council, managing HR and Governance teams. Tracey’s biggest achievement there was to lead a project to introduce a Development and Training Programme for Senior Managers.
Tracey enjoys family time. With two theme park mad sons and a like-minded husband, she travels to theme parks all over Europe (with Tracey using her toddler as an excuse not to go on the roller coasters!)
For the past 5 years, Tracey has also worked as an HR Consultant, providing advice to businesses of all sizes, across a range of HR issues. Tracey maintains her professional knowledge by reading and writing blogs, attending HR seminars and updates, and networking. Tracey joins our Colchester team to support our clients with their HR requirements including checking they are up-to-date with the latest HR legislation. She will also be networking in her corner of Essex for us.
